THE INNER LIGHT...!
I'm longing to take flight
but my wings are stuck so tight
they wont budge till I fight
to reignite my inner light!
my light was once burning bright
but now it makes for a sore sight
spluttering and looking
like its time has finally come by
but I will wake up and fight
to rekindle my inner light
I was once so great they say
like I've fallen,
into total dismay
but they'll soon know that
the fall from praise
was just a wake up call from my soul
to say to my mind
not to idly lay
oh yes i will fight till my inner light is blinding bright!

sunlight and the shadow
Sunlight and the Shadow, two sworn enemies,
one won't be in the same place as the other,
but one cant be without the other either!
They fight along, making a beautiful scene,
below the great oak
with the breeze they move,
as do the leaves and the boughs.
On a late afternoon, as i lazily lay,
wondering why it is
with all great foes,
that one cant be along with the other,
while
they also cant be without each other?
no shadow without light, no meaning for light
without shadow
,no failure without success,
but just the same
success would mean nothing
had it not been for the fear of failure.
the doctors all despise disease,
but whats the need for a doctor
without the disease?
no one can die unless they have lived,
but what is life,
if it isn't defying death?
death failure,disease,shadow,
all giving meaning to their nemeses,
just as the opposites strive to destroy these.
it makes me wonder, if it's all a great stage,
enacting a script someone above made?
pairs of enemies,
made for the purpose,
one justifying the other,
and the other endeavouring to obleviate the other?
Man lives on, fighting his fears,
protecting his dears,
abusing fear, hoping it never gets near.
but when will he realise ,
he would never love his dears,
it it weren't for his fear?
no shadow without light, no wrong without right.

Choking in the greenest yard
the lights look dim,
my head feels numb,
I'm choking hard,
in the greenest yard,
the air is clean,
the plants all green,
but still it feels like a dissolving scene,
the trees look weird,
they seem to be twisting,
there's something wrong,
I'm choking,
and it feels like i wont survive long.
my mouth is gaping, trying hard,
but I wonder whats amiss,
why is it that I'm choking like this?
what is it that's stopping the air,
I'm choking today in the greenest yard.
suddenly there's a whisper in my ear,
get up my dear,
come a little near.
I struggle and kick about
to get on my feet,
the head aching like mad,
as if it would split,
when the whisper turns loud,
it sounds like a song,
telling me whats wrong,
letting me know whats amiss,
why I feel like I'm getting the
cold kiss,
its because I haven't let my spirit breathe,
I've been alive,
but I haven't been living,
I need to get the air
to my spirit that's crumbling,
to breathe, to feel alive,
to feel the breeze against my hair,
to sing that song,
for which my soul has longed,
to feel free,
to run along.
I finally get up,
my choking,
its gone,
I'm gonna breathe,
my choking, its gone.

:-)
looking at the horizon
at the end of the day,
watching the sun,
reflecting on the day,
why is it that i feel this way
that you are the one
without whom its always
a meaningless day
oh really, without you its no fun, this day, this sun and this horizon.

Khamoshi..
Khamoshi ki tamannah hai har kisiko,
par qabr ke sannate ka khauf sabhiko.
Kya hai Zindagi agar nahi hai jashn shor ka?
warna Zindagi ka aakhri lamha bitata har koi,
kuch kehne ki koshish mein,
koi kuch kahe is aarzoo mein?

Tribals in India, Why are diseases spreading?
This is a sincere doubt so please do not take any sarcastic meanings out of it, i want to know and if possible to make a difference.
There has been recent news of tribals and their ill health. We understand that they are far from medical help or any such facility, and i would perfectly understand if they had a slightly lesser life expectancy than normal urban citizens, considering that though they are away from medical attention, they are also away from many things that cause the need for medical attention. They live in unpolluted environs for one.But what is more worrying is the fact that they are not slightly unwell, but highly malnourished and suffering from many communicable diseases. Yes, it is true that they might be living in conditions less hygienic than us, but weren't their ancestors too living the same way? why is it now that people have suddenly started contracting these diseases? haven't they been living like that since time immemorial?I'd be grateful if someone could shed some light..
This question gains more significance now, because it is only when these people are happy and satisfied that we will be able to really help the wild animals too, if the local tribal people are unhappy and ill, they might bow down to financial pressures and wrongly use the forests resources and also kill wild animals ..
